In addition, Forge & Fabrication offers medical device contract manufacturing including machining of plastics, metals, PEEK, UHMWPE (Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene), and cleaning and packaging. The forging operation offers high quality, low-to-mid volume products in an array of finished shapes in titanium, cobalt chrome, and stainless steel materials.

Perryman has made significant investments in equipment and has expanded production capacity. We work with small- low volume customers as well as large- high volume customers.  Cultivating relationships to understand needs and help all of our customers grow - that is our goal.

Hips

We produce metal and plastics components for all hip systems. From melt to machining, we control the supply chain to ensure quality, cost, and on time delivery. We also offer other forged and machined metal materials, including cobalt, chrome, and stainless steel, as well as the machined plastic complimentary liner system.

Shoulders

We produce metal and plastics components for all shoulder systems. Perryman is in complete control of the supply chain to ensure quality, cost management and on time delivery. We also offer other forged and machined metal materials, including cobalt, chrome, and stainless steel, as well as machined plastic implants. We have significant capacity to produce glenoid implants in high volumes.

Services

Our vertical integration of titanium materials offers a unique advantage to our customers that only Perryman can offer. As a melter of titanium, we are able to self supply titanium bar for use within our Forge & Fabrication operations.

Perryman Forge & Fabrication staff has well over 120 years of combined experience in designing and developing engineered solutions for our customers. By partnering with our customers at the front end of the device design, we ensure customer satisfaction through on-time delivery of quality products at a competitive price.

Working with Perryman Forge & Fabrication at the Design for Manufacturing stage our engineering team provides critical feedback and input into the design, which ultimately reduces cost to our customers.

Our expertise in each phase in the validation process of new product development leads to ongoing monitoring of controls, such as SPC, during the manufacturing process, ensuring repeatable and reliable delivery of quality product.

We offer inventory management by utilizing Lean Principles, KanBan, Fixed Order Quantities, etc., as well as experience with vendor-managed inventory programs. Our extensive ERP knowledge enables us to accommodate our customers' many different inventory requirements. We support and understand the importance of dock to stock programs.


Perryman Forge & Fabrication provides a multitude of surface finishes/textures utilizing our patented Chemtex® process, finishing department, and management of outside suppliers in order to provide a complete component to our customers.
Chemtex® - a technology that allows height, depth and location of surface texture to be designed to avoid problems of plasma sprayed, sintered, or bonded materials.
